It all started back in 2006 when Lucy had £50 to her name. Unsure about her career she decided to use her beloved collection and set up shop in Bridge Mill.
Year after year the shop grew and grew. Not only did they sell vintage clothes, it was time to expand to homewares, this is where Nicky, Lucys mum came in.
In 2016 hebden was hit hard with the boxing day floods & even though it was a scary time they got given the opportunity to relocate to a better premises (at the bottom of the mill)
Lucy & Nicky are now team Caterpillar and they work together to create a lovely shopping experience.. they buy things they love so everything is handpicked, mainly focusing on older vintage from the 1920s-1980s.
Having always had a full cluttered shop we decided to make vintage shopping more minimal with key pieces.
